Vision
John the Baptist spoke of Christ when he
said,
|
He will baptize you with
the Holy Spirit and fire1
|
For a fire to start, there must be
fuel. The more fuel there is, the longer the fire
will burn. The better the fuel is, the hotter the flames.
-
Our fuel is the will of God.2
-
We must study the Word of God
to know the will of God. Then we will be
equipped to do the work of the ministry.3
The
depth and breath of your studies will
determine how successful and how long you
will be in ministry.
-
The quality of your education
is important. Not all Bible institutes,
Bible colleges and seminaries are created
equal. If you are seeking only an
academic experience, then the Fire Institute
is not for you.

|
For a fire to start, there must be
oxygen. When more oxygen is available, the fire
spreads. When large amounts of air are suddenly
available, there is an explosion.
-
Our oxygen is the freedom of
the Spirit.
-
Where the Spirit of the Lord
is, there is freedom.4 While some ministries
discourage the manifestations of the Holy
Spirit, we encourage and train students to
express their gifts. If there is no air, a
fire will die. The wrong environment will
restrain Christians from realizing their
full potential.
-
The Fire Institute is an
explosive atmosphere. Fire experts define an
explosive atmosphere as a mixture of
dangerous substances with air under intense
atmospheric conditions. An ordinary house
object like an aerosol can of hair spray
will ignite and explode with enough pressure
and heat.
-
Our goal is to lead you into
an intense relationship with Jesus so that
your Christian experience is explosive.5
Christians should not be ordinary. They
should be armed and dangerous!
|
For a fire to
start, there must be heat. Without sufficient heat,
a fire cannot begin. Many substances are flammable but
they still require the presence of heat in order to
ignite.
-
Our heat is the passion for
God.
-
All Christians are flammable.
Each of us has the potential to change the
world.6 But
many are not changing the world. Why?
Passion! Jesus exhorted the church of Laodicea to be hot or cold but not lukewarm.7
-
Your desire determines your
destiny. The greater your desire, the
stronger the fire - and the greater your
potential.

What is God saying to you? Does
God want to prepare you for the Harvest? Do you burn for
souls? Are you looking to set the world on fire? The
prophet Jeremiah wrote,
| |
But His word was in my heart like
a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.9

Now is the
time! Don't delay.
Be led by the Spirit and complete your
